The staff is amazing.
I stayed twice in the same week. both rooms were modern but one was two doubles and the other a King suite. The one with the queen beds was the cleanest and the king Suite less and could have been more welcoming.
I have stayed here a number of times. It works well for me.

Easy access to rooms
The staff was accommodating of our requests. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. We also enjoyed the indoor pool as well as the restaurant at the lobby! The food that we had were all superb and the service was impeccable! Highly recommended!
Close to the airport with free shuttle.
Simply a super place to stay in Thunder Bay! Very friendly front staff, excellent independent hotel creatively designed. And, our favorite amenity - EV car charger!
View and easy check in
The room was newly renovated and clean with the most comfortable new bed!! Enjoyed the quaintness of the lobby, with old ambiance but well cared for! A real fire going in the huge fireplace to great you on a cold day !
The rooms are always tidy and clean. I like the flooring instead of carpet, it's way better to keep clean and sanitary.
The room was updated, very clean and had the amenities that I was looking for. Room service when I asked for extra blankets was nice. It was nice they had a safe place for my suitcase, when I checked out, as I was there for a full day conference.
Walking distance to stores.
I was in a room that was extremely dirty and upon reporting it to the staff they told me that there was nothing they could do when I was picking up my brother-in-law and his partner from the airport 15 minutes prior to their arrival. I was blown away with how dirty my room was and have higher expectations for spending that much money
